Basetolearn, an E-Learning Platform for Professional Development

Share

Raluca Neagu, co-founder and CEO of Basetolearn, announced the launch of an e-learning platform dedicated to professional development, supported by an initial investment of €200,000. “We invested €200,000 in an e-learning platform for professional development to reduce Romania’s gap compared to the European average in this field. We aim for a turnover of €500,000 in the first year,” she said.

Practical Courses and Long-Term Support

The platform stands out through courses taught by practicing experts, built around real projects and simulations. Each program includes a concrete action plan: 90 days for individual courses or six months for management programs.

“We try to respond to these needs by creating learning programs built around clear learning paths. These courses, besides being structured around projects or business simulations, have the particularity that learning does not stop when the course ends. You remain with a plan, for example, in the ‘Personal Branding’ course, you have a 90-day plan after the project ends. Additionally, the community remains, where you can return over the 90 days to exchange experiences. And in the ‘First Time Manager’ course, we have a longer six-month plan, through which participants go through all the challenges of the new position in a structured way,” explains Raluca Neagu.

The platform was developed over three months, and currently offers 10 live online courses taught by 10 recognized mentors, including Ioana Dodan (personal branding), Raluca Georgescu (social media), and Cristina Nilă (financial analysis). “We try to take the raw business experience of the instructors and bring it into this structured framework, leveraging our educational design experience. They bring all their know-how, and our team tries to present it in a way that adds significant value to the learners’ experience,” emphasizes Basetolearn’s CEO.

Future Plans: Subscriptions and AI

Starting in 2026, Basetolearn will introduce subscription-based programs, combining pre-recorded materials with live online sessions to ensure continuous learning. “In the subscription part, we will find a hybrid learning model. We will have those pre-recorded materials and a resource library you can access at your own pace, and occasionally, you will have these live online events where you can participate to follow up, ask questions,” explains Raluca.

The platform will also integrate artificial intelligence to personalize the learning experience for each user. “Within the subscriptions, we will have significant AI support to personalize the learning experience as much as possible and create learning paths closer to the user’s needs. This is our first development direction: to integrate an AI tool into the platform,” adds Neagu.

In the first month after the launch, nearly 50 participants registered, and the goals for the first year include reaching a turnover of €500,000, 1,500 participants, and launching over 50 educational programs.
