Leroy Merlin, a retailer specializing in construction, home improvement and gardening, has opened its first store in Brăila and its 26th store in Romania, following an investment of approximately €14 million. Located at 90 Șoseaua Râmnicul Sărat, the store will be managed by a team of approximately 100 employees, who will provide customers with access to Leroy Merlin’s full range of products and services.
The new store has a total area of 8,500 square meters, of which 5,600 square meters are dedicated to the sales area, while 2,900 square meters are allocated to the Drive area. In addition, from the moment it opened, the store has incorporated solutions designed to contribute to the efficient use of resources and reduce energy consumption, such as LED lighting and an intelligent building management system (BMS).
With the opening of the Brăila store, Leroy Merlin is expanding its network in Romania and strengthening its presence in new territories. The new location provides customers in Brăila and surrounding areas with easier access to the company’s products and services, as well as solutions for construction, renovation and home improvement projects.

To mark the opening, Leroy Merlin has prepared a series of activities dedicated to customers. Between September 16 and 20, customers will receive a RON 20 voucher with any purchase, while between September 21 and 27, customers who scan their Leroy Merlin card will be able to enter a raffle for a prize worth RON 15,000. The activities will continue in the following weeks with raffles for an Evotools tricycle, between September 28 and October 4, and for an Einhell tool set, between October 5 and 11.
The Leroy Merlin store in Brăila will be open to the public from Monday to Saturday, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Customers are invited to explore the full range of available products and services in a modern, accessible space designed to meet the needs of every home improvement and construction project, regardless of its scale.
