Online home & deco retailer Vivre has announced the official closure of its insolvency proceedings and its return to normal business operations. Following the restructuring process, the company says it has become “simpler and more efficient,” laying the groundwork for a new phase of growth focused on technology and automation.
An AI-first strategy for the next phase
Over the next three years, Vivre plans a deep transformation, shifting from traditional e-commerce to an AI-first platform that combines technology, design, and digital commerce. The new strategy is built around three core pillars: an AI assistant for customers, a more efficient platform for sellers, and an AI studio designed for professionals.

A key element of the relaunch is the introduction of an AI-powered interior designer integrated into the home & deco platform. The tool allows users to generate personalized interior layouts, virtually test products in their own spaces, and purchase recommended solutions directly.
At the same time, Vivre is relaunching its marketplace with a model optimized for lower costs, clearer processes, and full transparency. The updated platform will feature AI tools that automatically increase product visibility, a unified dashboard for sellers, and more flexible logistics options.
Vivre.Design and a leaner operating model
The company is also launching Vivre.Design, an AI studio aimed at designers, architects, real estate agents, and sellers. The platform enables the rapid creation of interior designs and 3D projects, automatic cataloging and product integration, and professional client presentations.
Vivre emphasizes that it does not intend to return to its former role as a large-scale retailer. Instead, it is building a smartly scaled organization with operating costs reduced by over 80% compared to the pre-insolvency period. The new model focuses on technology and brand development rather than physical inventory, with growth driven by productivity and automation rather than aggressive capital expansion.
“The insolvency process was a difficult but necessary moment. Today, Vivre has the structure, technology, and vision needed for the next development cycle. We are building a new Vivre: smarter, simpler, and closer to the real needs of the market,” said Călin Fusu, Special Administrator.
