Żabka expands its convenience retail concept

Żabka, Poland’s largest convenience retailer and owner of Froo, has launched a new customer service: in-store tailoring. In selected Żabka locations, customers can now bring clothes for alterations or repairs.

The move follows the earlier rollout of shoe cleaning and repair services. The new offering is developed in partnership with Polish startup WoshWosh, known for its eco-friendly approach to garment and footwear care.

Previously, the Żabka–WoshWosh partnership covered shoe cleaning and repairs, as well as leather bag care. The collaboration has now expanded to include tailoring services such as shortening trousers, replacing zippers, and sewing buttons.

Customers place orders online, select a Żabka store for drop-off, and the clothing items are then transported to production workshops. Repairs are carried out by WoshWosh specialists or partner tailoring studios, according to Forbes Poland.

Froo operates over 100 stores in Romania

In Romania, Froo runs a network of more than 100 convenience stores inspired by the Polish Żabka model. Over 80% of the assortment consists of well-known Romanian brands, alongside international products sourced from local suppliers.

Since entering the Romanian market, Froo has expanded rapidly, opening a new store roughly every three days. Locations can be found in Bucharest, Pitești, and Constanța, both in city centers and residential areas.
