Prime Video will begin using artificial intelligence to automatically generate summaries for TV series, according to News.ro. Unlike the official recaps that appear at the beginning of certain episodes, these AI-generated summaries can be requested by users at any time.
Amazon says the new feature “uses generative artificial intelligence to create cinematic-quality season recaps, with synchronized narration, dialogue and music.”

The tool is currently in beta and available for a limited selection of titles, including “Fallout,” “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” and “Upload.”
The feature builds on last year’s X-Ray Recaps, which allowed users to summarize seasons, episodes or even parts of episodes. Amazon states that spoiler restrictions have been implemented, although it does not address the possibility of the AI hallucinating or inventing scenes that never occurred.
