Google has rolled out globally, including in Romania, Lyria 3, its new generative music model integrated into the Gemini app. Users can create original 30-second tracks in Romanian or other languages based on text prompts or uploaded files.
The model supports Romanian-language prompts and can generate both instrumentals and Romanian lyrics. For example, users can request a hip-hop track with humorous lyrics about receiving a RO-Alert at 4 a.m. and jumping out of bed with a shovel to fight a snowstorm.

The tool enables music generation in three ways: from text to track, from file to track, and from idea to track. Users can describe a musical style or mood, upload an image or document to inspire lyrics, or turn a daily situation into a short song.
The result is a 30-second song, accompanied by a personalized cover created with the Nano-banana tool. The track can be downloaded or shared via an automatically generated link.
Google states that songs created with Lyria 3 are labeled using SynthID, a technology designed to identify AI-generated content. Users can upload an audio file into Gemini to verify whether it contains the SynthID marker.
Lyria 3 cannot generate songs that imitate specific artists. The model includes filters to protect copyright and prevent content that is overly similar to existing music. Use of the tool requires compliance with Google’s Terms and Conditions and generative AI usage policies.
