M247 Global, a major provider of hosting, connectivity and data center infrastructure services, has announced a significant expansion phase in 2025, reaching operational presence in over 110 countries. At the same time, the company recorded a 25% increase in data traffic across its global network, alongside a threefold rise in new customers.
This year also marks 10 years since the launch of the Bucharest–Pipera data center, a modern technology hub powered by renewable energy sources, which has now reached full occupancy. In parallel, M247 Global is reshaping its strategy around a high-speed global network made up of more than 55 points of presence.

All operations are fully managed by the Romania-based team of 90 specialists. During 2025, the company added new points of presence in Helsinki, Atlanta and Chicago, in order to optimize its colocation, cloud and connectivity services. The next development phase targets expansion into Africa, through the opening of a new data center in Johannesburg.
“M247 Global is one of the largest networks spanning the entire globe, a very high-speed, secure, low-latency network — something that is not widely known in Romania. M247 Global has an extraordinarily strong international reputation, much stronger than in Romania. We cover the entire globe, except for Africa, but we will most likely be there as well in the near future,” said Alexandru Băloi, Managing Director of M247 Global.
Looking ahead, the company plans to invest heavily in AI inference processes to provide businesses with the resources needed to unlock the full potential of artificial intelligence. These include cloud services, GPU servers, edge computing solutions and a global high-speed network designed to support large-scale AI deployment.
