A new chapter in the Romanian dream of creating and producing locally
Romanian furniture giant Mobexpert has opened its largest store in Transylvania, located in Brașov’s Coresi shopping area. The 10,000-square-metre space includes a 3,000 m² Outlet area, a HoReCa zone, and a spectacular façade featuring the largest LED screen in Southeastern Europe.
“When we opened our Pallady store, I said it was the most beautiful in the world — but I knew Brașov would be even better. We’re fulfilling a dream: to create and produce in Romania. It all started in 1993 with just 3–4 people, then another thousand joined, and another thousand after that. I’m extremely lucky to have 2,500 colleagues helping me carry this dream forward.”, Dan Șucu, founder of Mobexpert

The Brașov opening marks Mobexpert’s third new store in 2025, following Pallady (Bucharest) and Cluj.
The group, founded in 1993 and 100% Romanian-owned, employs over 2,100 people, operates 27 stores, and reports annual revenues of €261 million. More than two-thirds of its furniture is designed and manufactured in Romania, in its own production facilities serving both local and export markets.
Mobexpert also runs 10 Outlet stores nationwide, now including the new location in Brașov.
