Small businesses in Romania are getting a digital upgrade as Salt Bank, in partnership with Namirial, a global leader in trusted digital solutions, provided 1,500 qualified electronic signatures through the Salt Business Club program, held between July 29 and August 31, 2025.
The initiative, designed for freelancers and micro-businesses, attracted around 60% of the bank’s business clients, mostly from IT, services, and commerce. One key benefit was access to a qualified electronic signature, officially recognized across the European Union, allowing entrepreneurs to sign documents securely from anywhere, without a token or physical presence.

“This partnership with Salt Bank is another opportunity for Namirial to support entrepreneurs and small businesses through advanced digital solutions such as remote video identification, electronic signatures, and e-archiving,” said Adrian Dinculescu, Managing Director of Namirial.
The Namirial digital signature can be used for tax declarations, e-invoicing, public tenders (SEAP), and official document signing with public institutions.
“We know how hard it is to start or grow a business when you have to do everything at once. With Salt Business Club, we wanted to make it easier for entrepreneurs to access the tools they need to move forward. Those who join the club remain part of it for the long term,” said Robert Anghel, Chief Business Officer at Salt Bank.
Alongside the digital signatures, participants benefited from AWS cloud services, promotional packages, and strategy workshops. The Salt business account is free for companies with monthly revenues of at least 5,000 lei, and registration takes just a few minutes. Until December 31, 2025, users receive 1% cashback for payments in supermarkets, gas stations, and digital marketing services.
