Over 2,400 Young People Participate in the “Your Professional Success” Sessions

Nearly 2,500 high school students and teachers from 79 localities across 37 Romanian counties took part in the seventh edition of “Your Professional Success”, a career development program organized by Junior Achievement (JA) Romania in partnership with Nestlé Romania. The project helps young people explore career paths, develop essential skills, and connect with real-life business mentors.

In October, six Nestlé Romania volunteers led three online sessions that gathered 2,423 participants. The discussions focused on how to build a successful career, adapt to change, and stay motivated in a dynamic job market.

“It was an interactive experience that helped support the professional and personal growth of future professionals. I encourage them to be bold and keep pace with the world around them,” said Ana-Maria Radu, Business Controller Nestlé Professional South Eastern Europe.

Students praised the interactive format and real-world advice. “I learned to stay open to change and enjoy the challenges that help us grow,” said a student from Ștefan Odobleja College in Craiova. Teachers highlighted the practical and motivational impact of the program.

A Global Initiative for the Next Generation

The program is part of the global “Nestlé Needs YOUth” initiative, through which Nestlé aims to provide career opportunities for 10 million young people worldwide by 2030. In Romania, this marks the seventh year of collaboration with JA Romania and contributes to the Alliance for YOUth efforts to empower young talent.

Continuing this mission, Nestlé Romania is launching the Nestlé Skillathon, a hybrid event taking place October 27–30, combining virtual and live sessions designed to help young people enhance their skills and employability. Senior leaders, young talents, and partners from the Alliance for YOUth will join the event, which will conclude with certificates of participation for attendees.
