Uber expands its operations in Romania with a new service that allows users to send parcels quickly and easily, without having to go to the post office or wait for a courier.
Uber Courier Available in 25 Cities
The service, called Uber Courier, is available in all 25 cities where the app operates. “People no longer have to go to the post office, wait for a courier, or deliver the package themselves—they can simply request a delivery from point A to point B through the app,” Uber announced.
The delivery cost is similar to a standard UberX ride, and the price is known in advance, regardless of the parcel’s weight or size.

“The interest of customers in fast and flexible solutions is growing. Uber Courier addresses the daily need to send parcels without delays or complications. With Uber Courier, you can now send parcels quickly and conveniently, without standing in line at the post office or waiting for a courier. I believe this service will also be appreciated by drivers, who can increase their income through parcel deliveries,” said Ana Maria Borlovan, General Manager of Uber Romania and CEE.
Once a delivery is ordered, both the sender and the recipient can track the parcel’s route and estimated arrival time. Before sending a package, users must follow the rules and restrictions regarding permitted parcel types.
