Chinese technology company Xiaomi announced the opening of its first official store in Romania, set to launch on November 22 at ParkLake Shopping Center in Bucharest. The new retail space, located on the ground floor, covers an area of 150 square meters.

“The opening of the first Xiaomi Store in Romania is a vital sign of our strong market position and long-term commitment to the country. Our goal is to stay close to both existing and potential customers, giving them direct access to our wide product portfolio. This launch is fully aligned with Xiaomi’s global retail expansion strategy,” said Linshan Zheng, Country Manager of Xiaomi Romania.
Founded in April 2010, Xiaomi Corporation has been listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since July 9, 2018.
As of June 2025, the company reached approximately 731.2 million monthly active users (MAU) worldwide across smartphones and tablets. Xiaomi also operates one of the world’s largest AIoT (Artificial Intelligence + Internet of Things) platforms, with around 989.1 million connected smart devices (excluding phones, laptops, and tablets).
Xiaomi products are currently available in over 100 countries and regions globally.
