5 to go, the largest coffee shop chain in Eastern Europe, continues its expansion strategy through a strategic partnership with RO concept OSCAR, the national fuel station network operated by OSCAR Downstream. The collaboration brings 5 to go coffee into high-traffic locations with fast and easy access for consumers.
RO concept OSCAR operates over 90 fuel stations nationwide. As of December 1, 2025, the first two stations to introduce the “We serve 5 to go coffee with love” concept are located in Marginea (Suceava County) and Bumbești Pițic (Gorj County). Customers can enjoy specialty coffee and tea through a fully automated, co-branded format, with access to classic menu options such as Espresso, Americano, Cappuccino, Flat White and Caffè Latte.

“We wanted 5 to go products to be more accessible, even in quick-stop locations such as fuel stations. The partnership with OSCAR Downstream brings value to both brands and marks the beginning of a pilot project that we plan to gradually expand across the entire RO fuel station network,” said Radu Savopol, co-founder of 5 to go.
Direct benefits for consumers
The partnership reflects 5 to go’s strategy to stay close to consumers who need fast energy in a dynamic lifestyle. Fuel stations evolve into multifunctional spaces where refueling also includes a quality coffee break.

Pilot project with nationwide expansion potential
The first two locations are part of an initial pilot phase targeting nine stations, with plans for further expansion across the national network. Customers benefit from co-branded cups and the full 5 to go product range.
Founded in 2015 by Radu Savopol and Lucian Bădilă, 5 to go has surpassed 650 units and remains Romania’s leading coffee franchise. With over 24 years of activity, OSCAR Downstream is the largest Romanian-owned fuel company, operating more than 90 RO Concept stations.
