Expansion strengthens minimally invasive surgery capabilities

PartnerVet, a leading player in Romania’s veterinary services sector, has announced the integration of Vet Zone Pipera into its national network of veterinary clinics and hospitals, according to Revista Cariere. The acquisition adds advanced minimally invasive surgery expertise and a full range of veterinary medical services for companion animals in Ilfov and the north-western area of Bucharest.

Founded in 2004 by Răzvan Rolea, Vet Zone Pipera operates with a team of 10 veterinarians and technicians and provides services ranging from routine consultations to complex medical procedures. The clinic specializes in minimally invasive surgery, endoscopy, laparoscopy and veterinary dentistry, offers post-operative hospitalization, and is equipped with advanced imaging, ultrasound and radiology systems. It also includes a veterinary pharmacy and a pet shop.

“I founded Vet Zone out of care and love for animals, with the aim of offering calm and hope in difficult moments. After two decades of intensive work, I felt it was the right time for a partnership with an organization that shares the same values. Joining the PartnerVet medical community means professional development and access to the best resources and knowledge, which we now place at the service of our patients,” said Dr. Răzvan Rolea.

Ioan Masca, CEO of PartnerVet, added: “At Vet Zone Pipera, we found a highly skilled medical team with extensive experience in minimally invasive surgery. These procedures allow faster recovery, reduced post-operative pain and less stress for companion animals. Minimally invasive surgery is a strategic direction for our group”.

PartnerVet is currently focusing on standardizing technological infrastructure, modernizing partner clinics and strengthening digital presence. In 2026, the group plans more than 10,000 hours of professional training, aiming to raise veterinary practice standards and support the development of a new generation of specialists trained in modern medical protocols.
