A More Efficient, Digital Grid
Delgaz Grid has completed the ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System) project, bringing digitalization and automation to Moldova’s electricity distribution network. Launched in 2021, the program allows real-time monitoring and control of the network, delivering benefits to consumers, prosumers, and energy producers.
The total investment amounted to 84 million lei (excluding VAT), of which 61 million lei came from European funds. The co-financing was provided in two stages: first through the Cohesion Fund (POIM 2014-2020) and then via the European Regional Development Fund (PDD 2021-2027).

The project includes:
- The integrated ADMS platform, featuring SCADA, OMS, DMS, and reporting modules;
- Interfaces with GIS, SAP, MDMS, and FSMS;
- The EBS platform, enabling communication between integrated systems;
- Low-voltage network upgrades: 22 km of new cables, 33 modernized transformer stations, and over 10,000 smart meters installed in Suceava.
“Through this project, Delgaz Grid takes an important step towards full digitalization of the network and increased operational efficiency, without any additional costs for customers, thanks to non-reimbursable European funding,” the company’s representatives stated.
Long-Term Infrastructure Investments
Delgaz Grid continues to modernize its infrastructure through 14 similar projects, totaling 402 million euros, of which 307 million come from European funds. These investments focus on SMART metering, upgrading and constructing transformer stations, and network improvements at all voltage levels.
