This framework enables Groupama to embed AI both in everyday tasks and in larger strategic projects launched throughout 2024, improving operational efficiency and reducing response times.
The impact is already visible. CASCO quote generation is now handled almost entirely through the dedicated digital system, cutting processing time by roughly 70%. Customer response times have also dropped significantly, while document verification is now up to 50% faster. AI tools support the initial review of claim files across health insurance, RCA policies and home insurance.
Groupama also uses AI-powered tools for internal teams, including virtual assistants available around the clock and automated voice systems that solve more than 1,000 customer requests every month with a high satisfaction rate.
According to Călin Matei, CEO of Groupama Romania, integrating AI into daily operations is a key priority meant to simplify interactions and strengthen team productivity. Boris Georgiev, Regional Director at Google, notes that Groupama is among the first insurers in the region to move quickly from experimentation to real-world AI deployment, positioning the company as a trendsetter in the market.
