Quality and Durability Drive Strong Performance on a Stagnant Market
Home appliance brand Hansa recorded a 25% increase in sales during the first nine months of 2025, outperforming a market slowed by high inflation and moderate demand.
The company’s success was fueled by growing consumer interest in energy-efficient and long-lasting appliances with extended warranties.

“Achieving double-digit growth in a flat market is the result of our focus on quality and service. Romanian customers look for durable appliances with low energy consumption and long-term guarantees. Our 5-year warranty provides that reassurance,” said Mioara Bolozan, Country Manager for Hansa Romania & Moldova.
Market Trends and Growth Segments
The Romanian home appliance market saw a 5–6% increase in built-in products (ovens, hobs, hoods) in 2025, while traditional cookers dropped by 4–5%. Consumers increasingly prefer electric or hybrid models with stainless steel finishes.
Hansa’s top-performing categories include:
- Hobs and hoods: +50%, driven by the demand for modern built-in designs.
- Traditional cookers: +15%, outperforming the market decline.
- Premium products: strong sales of dual-motor hoods, large-capacity ovens, and cast-iron hobs.
The brand has expanded its range with self-cleaning catalytic ovens, digital displays, and enhanced safety features, while preparing exclusive Black Friday 2025 offers.
Hansa, part of the Amica Group, has nearly 70 years of manufacturing experience at its plant in Wronki, Poland, and is active in over 50 international markets.
