Romanian excellence in innovation and telecom technology
Intrarom S.A., a leading ICT provider and the sole production unit of Intracom Telecom Greece, has been awarded first place in the Research, Development & High Technology category for large communication equipment manufacturers at the “Top Companies of Bucharest” Gala, organized by the Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry, according to a press release available on Wall-Street.
The award highlights Intrarom’s excellence in developing and manufacturing advanced wireless access, transmission, and transport solutions.

The Chamber’s ranking is based on key financial indicators — including turnover, operational profit, profit margin, and employee count — verified by the General Directorate of Public Finance.
Founded in 1993, Intrarom has invested over €30 million in state-of-the-art infrastructure, transforming its Bucharest facility into a high-tech innovation hub that supports broadband and wireless networks worldwide.
