Healthcare network outperforms global and European benchmarks in 2026
Rețeaua de sănătate Regina Maria has been recertified as a Top Employer for the fourth year in a row, strengthening its position as a benchmark in people management, both locally and internationally.
In the 2026 edition, Regina Maria achieved a score of 90.35%, significantly above the global Top Employer benchmark (85.71%), the global healthcare average (85.84%) and the European healthcare benchmark (83.60%).
The achievement stands out given the scale of the evaluation, which compared 2,497 organizations worldwide, including 175 healthcare providers and 81 European companies, all assessed under the same rigorous audit standards.
“Being recertified as a Top Employer in such a competitive international context confirms the organizational maturity Regina Maria has reached. This is not only about HR policies or programs, but about a coherent system where leadership, culture, governance and care for people reinforce each other and deliver real, sustainable results,” said Fady Chreih, CEO of Regina Maria.
The network received top scores across seven core pillars of the Top Employer certification: leadership, organizational management, HR digitalization, employer branding, candidate experience, ethics and integrity, and purpose and values. These results highlight the strategic alignment between organizational practices and employee experience.
Amid ongoing pressure in the healthcare industry, from talent shortages to rapid digital transformation and rising patient expectations, Regina Maria’s recertification demonstrates that global people management standards can be achieved and surpassed in Romania.
