Romanian Courier Giant Expands Its Network to 7,700 Easyboxes and Invests €80 Million in 2025
Romanian courier company SAMEDAY — the pioneer of parcel locker deliveries in the country — is preparing for its busiest shopping season ever, expecting to process over 1 million parcels per day during Black Friday 2025.
The company invested over €80 million this year in technology, logistics infrastructure, and out-of-home delivery services, strengthening its position as a major player in the regional e-commerce ecosystem.

“Black Friday brings extremely high volumes and delivery complexity. Our investments in infrastructure, technology, and the easybox network enable us to support e-commerce partners and offer customers a reliable, flexible experience,” said Lucian Baltaru, CEO of SAMEDAY Group.
SAMEDAY reported a 20% increase in revenues in the first nine months of 2025. Its network now includes three main hubs in Bucharest, Sibiu, and Brașov, five new logistics centers, and a special hub for oversized parcels in Rudeni.
The easybox network has expanded by over 20%, reaching 7,700 active lockers, while SAMEDAY Point now counts 1,600 partner locations. The company expects to deliver over 4 million parcels via easybox during the Black Friday period, with November 10 forecasted as the busiest day.
SAMEDAY’s workforce includes 3,500 couriers and over 500 inter-hub vehicles. Its mobile app — now exceeding 4 million downloads — allows users to extend pickup deadlines, redirect deliveries, and pay via Apple Pay, Google Pay, or eMAG Pay.
Internationally, the company continues expanding, having launched SAMEDAY Hungary in July and SAMEDAY Bulgaria in October, offering cross-border deliveries throughout the European Union.
