Sika Romania appoints Camelia Ene as General Manager

Sika Group, a global leader in construction chemicals and solutions, has appointed Camelia Ene as General Manager of Sika Romania & Adeplast, effective November 2025.

She succeeds Ileana Nicolae, who led the company during the transition period while serving as Head of Eastern Europe.

With more than 25 years of professional experience, including 17 years in the energy sector, Camelia Ene has held senior leadership roles — notably serving as CEO for seven years in a major oil & gas company.

Most recently, she headed ROCA Industry, a Romanian industrial holding in the construction materials sector.

Camelia Ene has completed leadership programs at the Thunderbird School of Global Management and Babeș-Bolyai University, in partnership with the University of North Carolina – Kenan-Flagler Business School.

I’m honored to lead Sika Romania during this strategic stage of development. My goal is to align our local objectives with the group’s regional direction. In my first 100 days, I’ll focus on strengthening our team, accelerating sales, and defining a growth plan built on performance, partnerships, and innovation,” said Camelia Ene.

From November onward, Ileana Nicolae will focus on her regional leadership mandate, supporting the implementation of Sika’s 2028 Strategy.

Sika Group, headquartered in Switzerland, operates in 102 countries and runs over 400 production sites. Sika Romania & Adeplast employ over 600 people across five industrial platforms nationwide. In 2024, Sika achieved CHF 11.76 billion in annual sales.
