Located in Romania’s Dealu Mare wine region, Stoker Winery combines winemaking with themed tourism inspired by the Dracula myth. Designed as an oenotourism destination, the winery offers tastings, thematic events, and multimedia experiences based on the universe created by Bram Stoker.
“We’re proud to highlight the connection between Romania and Bram Stoker’s world. Dracula has been a global symbol for 127 years, and we aim to reflect that heritage in our wines while promoting responsible tourism linked to the Count’s legend,” said Dacre Stoker, the author’s great-great-grandnephew.

The first Stoker Wines bottles were launched in the United States on October 13 at Casa Coppola in New Orleans, with further expansion planned in selected markets. In Romania, the wines are available at Otopeni Airport’s duty-free, and the winery will soon open its doors to visitors.
Guided by oenologist Liviu Grigorică, Stoker Wines are produced in Ceptura de Jos, emphasizing quality and authenticity rooted in local viticultural tradition. The project, backed by American investors, includes collaborations with Romanian cheese producers and SERVE Winery, with which it launched The Bride Rosé 2024.
“This partnership marks the beginning of a long-term effort to strengthen Romania’s presence in the global wine industry,” said Kay Larkin, co-founder of Stoker Wines.
The company also plans to expand into cultural and tourism projects, including immersive experiences and themed events promoting Transylvania’s heritage and legends.
