Preventive recall follows factory equipment malfunction
Unilever Romania has announced the recall of four food products — three under the Knorr brand and one under Delikat — after discovering that certain batches may contain metal and rubber fragments due to a manufacturing equipment malfunction.

The affected products are:
- Delikat Borș Magic with vegetables (Lot 528003C93, best before 31.10.2026)
- Knorr Magic Bag seasoning mix for pork with garlic and smoked flavor (Lots 528630C93 and 528730C93, best before 31.01.2027)
- Knorr Chicken Noodle Soup (Lot 527810C93, best before 31.10.2026)
- Knorr Fix for Crispy Chicken with Garlic (Lot 528008C93, best before 30.04.2027)
Consumers are advised not to use the listed products and to return them to the store of purchase for a full refund. For further details, they can contact Unilever’s Customer Service at 0800.150.150.
“This recall affects a limited number of products. All other Delikat and Knorr items are completely safe for consumption and meet Unilever’s strict quality and safety standards. Preventive measures have been implemented to avoid recurrence,” the company stated.
Unilever emphasized that it operates under internationally recognized quality and safety standards and that this was an isolated incident caused by equipment damage.
